Our Story
At Avocal Allied Health, our journey began with a deep passion for supporting families and making a real difference in the lives of children.
The founder, Haoura, completed a degree in Speech Pathology and spent many years working across local government, public, and private health settings. Over the years, it became clear that the work that truly resonated with us was in supporting families and empowering children.
Through these experiences, we saw firsthand how parents' lives were shaped by their children’s development, and as Haoura became a parent herself, it created a deep, personal connection to the work. It was in those moments that the decision to work with kids became more than just a career choice—it became a calling.
Outside of our work, Haoura enjoys spending quality time with family, constantly learning to grow professionally, and focusing on being a kind and thoughtful person. It’s these values that guide the way we work at Avocal Allied Health and drive us to make a difference, one family at a time.
